As per RAFA bylaws, nominations are being accepted for the elected RAFA Board of Directors positions.
Most RAFA officers currently serving in the elected board positions have expressed willingness to continue in their current roles, but the Nominating Committee is open to receiving additional nominations.
One-year term executive board positions (with no term limits):
- President
- Vice-President
- Corresponding Secretary
- Recording Secretary
- Treasurer
3 Member-at-Large positions (3-year rotating terms)
One Member-at-Large position opens this year (2024-2027). This 3-year term position provides the opportunity to help RAFA by attending executive board meetings, providing input on a variety of events and projects, and voting on issues discussed at meetings.
All other RAFA board positions are appointed. If you wish to serve RAFA in a non-elected role, please let us know how you’d like to participate!

RAFA will again be holding its annual election via Internet poll. The RAFA Nominating Committee will publish the Slate of Officers in the April 2024 Tune In newsletter. RAFA members will receive an email with voting instructions.
To reach quorum, we need at least 48 people to respond, so please respond and vote when you receive the election email.
Election results will be announced at the Members’ Recital on Sunday, May 5. Results will also be published on the RAFA website and in the Tune In newsletter.
