Since its founding in 1985, the Raleigh Area Flute Association has continued to grow and change. With over 300 members and our active flute choirs, masterclasses, recitals, annual Flute Fair, and new Artist Competition, we have outgrown the Raleigh Area. Since we serve flutists from all across the state and region, we’ve decided to change our name to simply “RAFA.” And since we’re excited about all of our active members, we’ve decided to change our logo, too!
When we thought about RAFA, we thought about what a professional and educational flute community we are, and we wanted our new logo to be a clean, modern, and unique representation of our biggest asset : all of you! We hope you like the fun, bright colors and interesting flute key image under our new modern font.
