Teacher Statement: I believe in building a strong foundation and structure lessons accordingly. During a lesson, students work on many facets of playing including tone, technique, and musicality. This is done through development exercises, scales, etudes, and solo pieces. I integrate music history and appreciation from the beginning to build a rounded understanding. The strengths of the student are built upon to explore new areas of playing.
Specialties: Piccolo, orchestral & chamber music
