Teacher Statement: I believe a strong foundation is important for any flutist and musician! I work to differentiate instruction and provide encouragement and support for each student. Each lesson is built around fundamental studies (tone, articulation, air support, etc.), etudes, solo and ensemble music, sight-reading, and music theory. I also believe that the physical approach to the flute is important, and work with each student to promote an easy, relaxed body that will help make flute playing enjoyable.
